SAL Foundation refurbishes and repurposes properties to create Transitional Housing Units (THU), Assisted Housing Units (AHU), and Sustainable Affordable Units (SAHU) based on the needs of individuals.
We aim to collaborate with the Government of New Brunswick and other non-profits and charities and are currently partnering with businessess.

Bay Du Vin Affordable Residences project
TRANSITIONAL HOUSING UNITS (THU)
The THU project aims to provide temporary housing for individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness. With our Housing Plus Services model, we help these individuals gain a sense of stability and ownership over their future.

Smart Tenant Course
For any individuals or families that want to create a better future for themselves, this course is meant to provide financial literacy. This course goes through life skills like self-management and responsibility, budget management, the credit and bank system in Canada, and more.

Wise Homeowner Course
This course provides education on how become a homeowner, and what is expected from home ownership- responsibilities of property tax, rules and regulations of maintaining land, managing a household budget, understanding mortgage options, and maintenance and repairs.

This course covers landlord responsibilities, tenant management, and business skills. This also focuses on communication skills, financial literacy skills, and strategies to keep rentals at an affordable price for your residents
